Katherine Jardine

Katherine Jardine, MLIS, has extensive experience in library and community engagement roles. Currently serving in Borrower Services at The Seattle Public Library since August 2022, Katherine previously worked as a Project Coordinator at OCLC, where responsibilities included summarizing research to assist libraries' reopening. Katherine also held the position of Outreach Manager at the University of Washington School of Social Work, focusing on LGBTQIA+ older adults. Prior roles include Public Relations Officer at San Francisco Public Library, Community Engagement Manager at Friends of the San Francisco Public Library, and various positions in film and media, including archivist and projectionist. Katherine holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington and a BA in Film & Media Studies from The Evergreen State College.
