Beverly Luster

Beverly Luster, Ph.D., NBCT, serves as the Principal of Seattle Public Schools since July 2019, having previously held the role of Assistant Principal. Luster has extensive experience in educational leadership, including the position of Regional Coordinator for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards from September 2017 to September 2019 and CEO of Shannon's Educational Consulting Services from February 2013 to August 2019. Additionally, Luster has contributed to various educational roles, including teacher positions in multiple school districts and as a Music Therapist. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership/Management from Hampton University, along with Master's Degrees in Elementary Education and Counselor Education. Current studies are ongoing at Cornell University.
