Patrick McCarthy is an experienced athletics administrator with a history of leadership roles within educational sports organizations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Athletics for Seattle Public Schools since July 2019 and Assistant Director of Athletics for Seattle School District since January 2016, McCarthy has also held the position of Athletic Director for Bellevue School District from 2007 to January 2016. Additionally, McCarthy is a longstanding member of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Executive Board since 2013, having held various leadership roles, including President in 2018 and Vice President/Finance Chair in 2017. McCarthy obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Central Washington University between 1978 and 1983.
