Jackie Nicholson

Jackie Nicholson currently serves as the Executive Director of Athletics at the Rochester Institute of Technology since July 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Athletics Director for Academics and Compliance/Senior Woman Administrator at Albany State University and Assistant Athletics Director for Academics at the University of Texas at San Antonio. At the University of Texas at San Antonio, responsibilities involved overseeing academic advisement for approximately 120 student-athletes and coordinating compliance with NCAA regulations. Jackie also held significant roles at Norfolk State University, including Director of Academic Services and Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Academic Services, where management of the academic support office and development of strategic plans were key duties. Earlier career experience includes an internship in student-athlete academic support services at Virginia Tech. Jackie holds a Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Virginia Tech.
