Ashley Oakes

Ashley Oakes is a Broadcast Intern with the Seattle Seahawks since July 2024, bringing a solid background in communications and media production. Previous experience includes a Public Relations role in the Journalism Department at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where responsibilities involved organizing events and serving as a communication contact. As a Podcast Producer for KCPR FM Cal Poly Radio, Ashley developed, edited, and produced podcasts, while also writing articles as a Multimedia Journalist focused on the local arts and music scene. An internship at SiriusXM included work with music archives and channel builds, enhancing media outreach skills at Gal Media Group, and serving as a Clinician/Tutor at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University and has a diverse background, including leadership roles and educational outreach activities.
