Creative Director at Seattle Seahawks

John Weaver is the current Creative Director at the Seattle Seahawks. John has been with the organization since 2005, when they started as a Graphic Designer. In their current role, they are responsible for the design of a wide variety of graphic applications from concept to completion. This involves coordination with other departments and agencies to maintain a consistent brand/image of the Seattle Seahawks, Lumen Field, First & Goal, Inc., and the organization’s ancillary brands.

Some of their previous responsibilities have included designing marketing materials such as flyers, advertisements, emails, logos, digital advertisements, and in-store graphics and promo items; providing direction and feedback for all freelance assignment photographers; working closely with Retail in the creation and maintenance of a consistent brand in all promotions and digital applications; creating digital, print and physical marketing assets in support of internal initiatives like the Pro Shop, Ticket and Premium Sales, Community and Marketing events and programs, Corporate Partnerships contest and promotions; creating appropriate email templates for regular subscriber emails as well as stand-alone promotional emails; and managing projects from initial creative brief to finished output.

John has also served as the primary design asset for the Pro Shop, driving milestone campaign concepting, photoshoot management and graphic design of all marketing elements. Additionally, they have maintained an inventory of all stadium asset locations and imagery and updates it annually.

John Weaver has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound.

They are on a team with Ryan Madayag - Director, Game Entertainment & Special Events, Paul Johns - Youth & High School Football Programs Director, and Courtney Moore - Seahawks Dancers Director. A direct report to John Weaver is and Grace Winiger - Digital Design Coordinator. John Weaver reports to Jeff Richards, VP, Marketing & Community Engagement.
