Buket Yenigul

Buket Yenigul, PhD, is an accomplished Senior Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Seaway 7, specializing in renewable energy since June 2022. Prior to this role, Buket held various positions at Allseas from October 2014 to June 2022, including Principal R&D Engineer and Expertise Group Leader in Geotechnics. Experience also includes a tenure as Senior Research Engineer at MTI Holland b.v from May 2007 to October 2014, focusing on geotechnical and environmental engineering related to dredging and deep sea mining. Buket's early career encompassed research and engineering roles with roles at TU Delft as a Research Assistant (PhD student), İller Bankası as a Geological and Hydrological Engineer, and TEKAR Technical Research and Drilling Company as a Geotechnical Engineer. Buket earned a PhD in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, an MSc in Engineering Geology from ITC Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation, and another MSc in Hydrological Engineering from Hacettepe University, alongside a BSc in Geological/Hydrological Engineering from the same institution.
