Folkert Klaassen

Folkert Klaassen is an accomplished Project Engineering Manager with extensive experience in offshore heavy lift projects within the Oil & Gas and Renewables sectors, currently working at Seaway 7 since September 2013. Prior roles include Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer at Seaway 7, and Project Engineer at STG Sea Trucks Group, where responsibilities included interfacing with Subsea 7 on the ERHA project and managing the Anguille Torpille Project. Folkert's career began at Heerema Marine Contractors, where roles spanned from Package Engineer to Engineering, contributing significantly to design and installation processes. Folkert holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente and has pursued relevant education from Kamer van Koophandel and Chr. College Stad en Lande.
