Clare Dean

Clare Dean is a seasoned professional in the seaweed and aquaculture industry, currently serving as the Director of the Scottish Seaweed Industry Association since March 2024, where efforts focus on promoting sector growth and providing essential resources. As Co-Founder and Sales & Marketing Director of Seaweed Enterprises since July 2023, Clare is instrumental in developing sustainable seaweed processing in Fife. Previous roles include Brand and Marketing Manager at Mara Seaweed Ltd., Trade Marketing Manager at Seafood Scotland, and various positions in marketing and production at Fenmarc Produce, Ginsters, and Samworth Brothers, building extensive experience in brand management, business development, and marketing strategy. Educational achievements include a Mini MBA in Marketing and a First-Class Honours degree in Food Marketing Management from Sheffield Hallam University.
