Derek H.

Derek H. is a seasoned audio and technical production professional with extensive experience in various roles within the live event and entertainment industries. Currently serving as the Technical/Production Director and FOH Audio at COSA/Carver Community Cultural Center/Alamodome since July 2018, Derek H. oversees technical riders and manages audio for live performances while handling video production for live streams. Derek H. also works part-time as a Scenic Tech at SeaWorld and previously held positions including Audio/Video Unit Supervisor and Sound Engineer at SeaWorld and Alamodome, respectively. Beginning a career as a General AV Technician and progressing to Senior Project Manager at Image Audiovisuals from March 2012 to October 2016, Derek H. has developed a robust skill set in audio engineering and project management. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's of Science in Music, Audio Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver and an Associate of Arts in Music from Aims Community College.
