Claes Gauffin

Claes Gauffin has extensive experience in investment banking and finance, having served in various leadership roles across reputable institutions. At Barclays Investment Bank from February 2013 to March 2016, Claes held the position of Vice President in Investment Banking and Global Finance, focusing on primary client coverage, budget control, and project management, while specializing in capital structure and bond origination. Previously, Claes worked as Assistant Vice President at Barclays Capital from February 2010 to February 2013, dealing with client coverage and project management in the debt instruments sector. Currently, Claes is the Director and Head of Corporate DCM for the Nordics and Netherlands at the Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS) since February 2023, alongside serving as Treasurer on its Board of Directors. Additionally, Claes is set to take on roles as Global Head of Leveraged Finance and Co-Head of Investment Grade DCM at SEB from March 2024. Claes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from Stockholm University and a Master’s degree in Business and Economics from Handelshögskolan i Stockholm.
