Katarina Jonsson

Katarina Jonsson is an experienced executive in the financial and energy sectors, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Head of SEB International at SEB since March 2010. Additional roles at SEB include Deputy Head of FICC and various leadership positions in Markets. Since June 2021, Katarina has held the position of Chairman of the Board at both SEB Securities, Inc. and JSC SEB Corporate Bank. Prior experience includes a board membership at Svenska Fondhandlareföreningen and positions at Gazprom Marketing and Trading and BG Group, focusing on natural gas trading and origination. Katarina's educational background includes a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and an MBA in Finance from the University of Cape Town.
