Māra Baumane

Māra Baumane is an experienced sustainability strategy analyst and corporate ESG advisor, currently working as an ESG Advisory Manager at SEB, where they support large corporates with EU sustainability reporting obligations and sustainable finance considerations. They have previously served as a Senior Economist at Latvijas Banka, focusing on international monetary policy and global economic analysis. Māra has held various roles, including Policy Officer at the Permanent Mission of Latvia to the UN and Desk Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia. They are also a PhD candidate in EU Climate Policy and Regulation at Rīga Stradiņš University, combining their conceptual knowledge with practical strategy-building experience in sustainability.
