Ollie Mitchell

Ollie Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ollie is currently the Country Manager UK & Ireland and Managing Director for Sebia, a leading provider of clinical protein electrophoresis equipment and reagents. Prior to this, Ollie served as the Chair of External Affairs Working Group for the British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA). Ollie has also worked as a mentor for the NHS Clinical Entrepreneurs Programme and the NHS Digital Academy programme. Ollie's previous experience includes positions at Abbott, where they held roles such as Commercial Director and Marketing Director. Ollie also worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Therapy Head and Business Unit Manager. Ollie's early career includes various sales, sales management, and brand management roles at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, where they worked with brands in CV, oncology, anti-infectives, and respiratory fields.

Ollie Mitchell has a diverse education history. In 1984, they completed their BA (Hons) in Biochemistry from Trinity College Dublin. Then, in 2001, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on business strategy from Hult Ashridge. In 2006, Ollie became an AMBO Certified NLP Practitioner, specializing in neuro linguistic programming. Ollie also obtained a Practitioner certification in Innovation from WHATIF? in 2011. Ollie expanded their skills in 2009 by achieving a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Future Learning Systems. Additionally, they completed their Leaving Certificate from St Clares Comprehensive, Leitrim, Ireland, between 1979 and 1984. Ollie continued their professional development by enrolling in various short courses, including the Role of the Director and the Board program at the Institute of Directors (IoD) in 2019, and a digital marketing program from the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2016.
