Christian Hager

Christian Hager has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT administration. Christian is currently working as a Security Consultant at SEC Consult Group since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as an IT-Security Consultant/Penetration Tester at TÜV AUSTRIA from March 2020 to January 2022. Christian also worked as an Analyst - Cyber Security at Deloitte from June 2018 to February 2020. Before that, they had two roles at KPMG Austria, first as an Associate from February 2018 to April 2018, and then as a Praktikant from September 2017 to February 2018. Christian started their career as an IT-Administrator at K. Ludwig GmbH, where they worked from April 2015 to August 2016.

Christian Hager pursued their education in the field of Information Technology and Security. Christian attended FH Campus Wien | University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Informationstechnologien und Telekommunikation. Following this, from 2019 to 2021, they continued their studies at the same institution, focusing on IT-Security. In addition to their academic endeavors, Christian has also obtained certifications in Operational Technology Security Technical Expert from TÜV AUSTRIA in October 2020 and Lead Implementing and Lead Auditing ISO/IEC 27001 from BSI.
