Asbjørn Navrestad has a extensive work experience in sales and marketing. Asbjørn began their career in 1994 as a Sales Manager at Norsk Personal, where they built up a telemarketing business from scratch. Asbjørn then moved on to Nordisk Forlag in 1995, where they were responsible for a team of 10 sales representatives, selling advertisements in various magazines.
In 1997, Navrestad joined Dell AS as an Account Manager, selling Dell's complete portfolio of products and services to new customers. Asbjørn later transitioned to the role of Sales Manager for the Norwegian market, leading a team of 20 salespeople and achieving significant business growth.
In 2005, Navrestad became the Sales Manager for software and peripherals at Dell AS, where they led a team of 6 people and successfully grew the business by 31% YoY. Asbjørn then moved on to the role of Solution Sales Manager, responsible for a team of 10 Technical Sales Representatives and Solution Consultants, focusing on complex datacenter solutions.
In 2008, Navrestad took on the role of Sales Manager for the Public Sector in Denmark, managing the local government and education market. Asbjørn invested a lot of time with customers to identify opportunities and challenges, and achieved predictability in the public segment.
From 2009 to 2011, Navrestad served as the Business Development Manager at Dell AS, implementing key projects across the Danish organization to improve business excellence. Asbjørn was also responsible for data quality in the CRM system.
From 2010 to 2011, Navrestad held the position of Marketing Manager at Dell AS, leading a team of 6 marketers and focusing on changing the perception of Dell from a box mover to a Solutions Provider.
In 2011, Navrestad became the Nordic & Regional Event Manager at Dell AS, responsible for developing event concepts and tools to make events effective and successful. Asbjørn also achieved outstanding results in generating leads, bids, and pipeline through events.
From 2014 to 2017, Navrestad joined Dell EMC as the EMEA Channel Event Manager, responsible for planning and executing key central channel events in EMEA. Asbjørn worked closely with the channel sales and marketing team to ensure superior quality in all aspects of the projects.
Since 2017, Navrestad has been working as the Sales Director - Datacenter for SEC DataCom A/S, leading SEC Datacom's Dell EMC business across the Nordic region.

Asbjørn Navrestad obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sivilmarkedfører from BI Norwegian Business School, completing the program from 1990 to 1994.
