Cathal Kavanagh

Cathal Kavanagh is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an Account Director at SEC Newgate UK since October 2024. Prior to this role, Cathal held several positions at Cratus Group, including Account Director, Senior Account Manager, and Account Manager from May 2022 to October 2024. Previous experience includes working as an Account Executive at Local Dialogue and as a Secretarial Assistant in the office of Senator Marie Sherlock at the Houses of the Oireachtas. Cathal also gained experience at Hume Brophy as a Senior Account Executive, Account Executive, and Intern, and completed internships at Village Magazine and Dublin Inquirer as a journalist. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Social & Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in History & English Literature from Trinity College Dublin.
