Alise Johnson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in public service and corporate law. Currently serving as a Board Member for The SEED School of Miami and Co-Chair for Southeastern Women in Financial Services, Alise has held the position of Senior Trial Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since November 2019, following earlier service in the same role from 2003 to 2007. Previous roles include Of Counsel at Bressler Amery & Ross and Associate Counsel at UBS. Alise began her legal career as an attorney at Akerman Senterfitt after a clerkship with Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge William C. Turnoff. Alise holds a Doctor of Law (JD) and a degree in Political Science and Government from Vanderbilt and UF LAW.
