Amy Reischauer

Amy Reischauer currently serves as the Deputy Director of Outreach and Education at the Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation within the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, having held various titles including Strategic Engagement Advisor and Acting Deputy Director. With extensive experience in securities law and policy, Amy has been a principal advisor on matters involving corporate finance and small business capital formation, and has worked on significant rulemaking initiatives such as the JOBS Act. Prior roles include Senior Counsel in the Division of Corporation Finance and positions at drugstore.com, Shurgard Storage Centers, and Perkins Coie LLP, where Amy provided legal counsel on corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Academic qualifications include a JD and an MBA from Georgetown University, along with a BA in International Studies from Vassar College.
