Andrew Park

Andrew Park serves as the Director of Federal Affairs at the New York State Insurance Fund since January 2025. Currently, Andrew is also the Chair of the Market Structure Subcommittee for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Investor Advisory Committee, with a term running until May 2026, and a member of the Market Risk Advisory Committee for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, appointed for a term ending September 2024. Previously, Andrew held roles such as Associate Director and Senior Policy Analyst at Americans for Financial Reform from March 2020 to January 2025 and worked as a financial journalist from 2011 to 2020, covering leveraged finance and securitized products. Earlier career experiences include positions as an analyst at PIMCO and a summer analyst at Merrill Lynch, in addition to an internship at the Council of Economic Advisers at The White House. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The George Washington University.
