Ben Watson

Ben Watson is currently the Director of Media Relations at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, a position they have held since 2025. Prior to this role, they served as the Deputy Communications Director for the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs from 2023 to 2025 and as Press Secretary in the United States Senate from 2018 to 2022. Ben has also worked at FTI Consulting as the Director of Strategic Communications in 2022-2023. They are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, & Law (PPEL) with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Richmond and have participated in a study abroad program at the University of Cape Town.
