Brian Katz is an accomplished professional in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Human Capital Strategy Group at the US Securities and Exchange Commission since September 2010. In this position, Brian manages a skilled team of psychologists and HR professionals focused on promoting organizational excellence through a variety of initiatives, such as hiring assessments, workforce planning, and organizational consulting. Prior to this role, Brian held positions as an Industrial Organizational Psychologist at PDRI and as Managing Research Scientist and Senior Staff Scientist at HumRRO. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The George Washington University and a BA in Psychology from Penn State University.
