Brian L. Schorr

Brian L. Schorr is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the Chair of the Investor Advisory Committee at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, a role they have held since 2024. They also hold the position of Partner and Chief Legal Officer at Trian Fund Management, L.P., a role they began in 2005. Prior to this, Brian served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Triarc Companies, Inc. from 1994 to 2007, and was a Partner at Paul Weiss Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison from 1982 to 1994, where they contributed significantly to New York Limited Liability Company Law. Brian earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Wesleyan University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at New York University School of Law.
