C. Chan

C. (Leo) Chan has significant experience in the field of compliance examinations and enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since 2011, where responsibilities include co-leading the National Exam Program's Valuation Specialized Group and supporting rulemaking, investigations, and litigation related to securities and derivatives valuation. Prior to this role, C. (Leo) Chan contributed to the International Valuation Standards Council as a member of the Derivatives Valuation Expert Working Group and held various titles at KPMG LLP from 2003 to 2011 in Economic and Valuation - Financial Engineering. C. (Leo) Chan’s career also includes experience in M&A due diligence, computing research, and quantitative modeling from 1995 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA in Information Systems and Operations Research from the University of California, Riverside, and a BBA (Honours) in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
