Cheryl Mori

Cheryl Mori is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in securities law and litigation. Currently serving as Senior Advisor to the Regional Director at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since July 2003, Cheryl assists with various administrative and operational duties, as well as community outreach for the Salt Lake Regional Office. Previously, as a Staff Attorney and Senior Counsel at the same organization, Cheryl focused on investigating and litigating enforcement cases related to federal securities law violations. Cheryl's legal career also includes roles as an Associate Attorney at Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough, PC, and Bendinger, Crockett, Peterson & Casey, with a focus on general business and complex commercial litigation, respectively. Additionally, Cheryl gained valuable experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Utah Supreme Court and built teamwork skills as a Flight Attendant with Delta Air Lines. Cheryl holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation with a focus on Commercial Recreation and Business Management from the University of Utah.
