Danica Hames

Danica Hames is an experienced attorney currently serving at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since February 2024. Prior to this role, Danica worked at the Dept of the Treasury/Financial Crimes Enforcement Network in the Enforcement Division from September 2016 to March 2024 and served as a Circuit Court Felony Division Law Clerk at the Montgomery County Government State's Attorney's Office from May 2015 to January 2016. Danica's legal career includes a law clerk position at the United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigation, where contributions included published reports and investigative memos, and a role at the Defense Health Agency General Counsel's Office. Danica has also gained experience at Rahdert, Steele, Reynolds, & Driscoll, the Investment Company Institute, the American Bar Association, and the U.S. Treasury Department.
