Edward Reilly

Edward Reilly is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Trial Counsel and Senior Counsel in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since July 2015. Prior to this role, Edward worked as an Enforcement Attorney at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from September 2012 to July 2015 and held the position of Special Assistant U.S. Attorney at The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia for a brief period in 2014. Edward began the legal career as a Law Clerk for the Maryland Court of Special Appeals from August 2011 to August 2012 and previously served as CEO of Students of Georgetown, Inc. from 2005 to 2008. Edward Reilly earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and English from Georgetown University.
