Erin East

Erin East is a legal professional with extensive experience in securities regulation and corporate law. Currently serving as Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since July 2020, Erin has previously worked as an Associate at King & Spalding and as a Law Clerk for both the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Erin's background also includes an Associate position in the Corporate Department at Paul Hastings, as well as various internships in legal environments, including GE Energy Services and the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. Erin holds a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University.
