Gary Leung is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in securities law and enforcement. Currently serving as Associate Regional Director at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since September 2012, Gary co-heads the enforcement program for the Los Angeles Regional Office. Previous roles at the SEC include Regional Trial Counsel and Assistant Director in the Division of Enforcement, where Gary led investigations into violations of federal securities laws. Prior to joining the SEC, Gary was a Partner at McGuireWoods LLP, litigating intellectual property and commercial disputes, and held positions as an Associate at Lord, Bissell & Brook LLP and as a Staff Attorney at the Illinois Appellate Court. Gary holds a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
