Greg Hillson

Greg Hillson is a Senior Special Counsel in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since June 2015 and previously served as Senior Counsel in the Division of Enforcement. Prior to this role, Greg worked as an Associate at Williams & Connolly LLP from 2010 to 2015 and completed summer associate positions at the same firm and Vinson and Elkins. Additionally, Greg gained experience as a Management Consultant at Booz & Company and served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy. Early in Greg's career, a Henry Luce Scholar position was held at the Okazaki Institute, and an Analyst role was undertaken at the Central Intelligence Agency. Greg holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, an MBA from The Wharton School, and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
