Ivan Panchenko currently serves as Counsel in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since January 2024. Prior to this role, Ivan worked at WilmerHale in various capacities from September 2016 to January 2024, including Counsel and Senior Associate, and previously served as a Law Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Ivan began legal training as a Summer Associate at WilmerHale and gained experience as a Legal Intern at the ACLU of Washington. Earlier in Ivan's career, teaching roles included serving as a Middle School Math Teacher at Imagine Middle School at Camelback and a Faculty Advisor for Teach For America. Ivan holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Washington.
