Jenny Choi

Jenny Choi currently serves as Special Counsel in both the Office of Chief Counsel and the Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, a position held since November 2020. Prior to this, Jenny Choi was an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from February 2019 to October 2020, specializing in Securities Regulation and Corporate Governance/Capital Markets, and at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from October 2016 to January 2019, focusing on Capital Markets and Securities. Jenny Choi began a legal career as a Legal Assistant at Google from June 2011 to May 2013. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School (2013-2016) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley (2007-2010).
