John Lee

John Lee is a highly experienced legal professional with a focus on investment management and corporate law. At the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since February 2015, John has held various senior roles, including Senior Special Counsel, Branch Chief, Senior Counsel, and Special Counsel, contributing to significant regulatory oversight in the Division of Investment Management and the Division of Trading and Markets. Prior to this, John served as a Corporate Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and corporate governance. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law.
