Jonathan Goodrich

Jonathan Goodrich currently serves as Senior Counsel in the Office of the Chief Counsel and the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Investigative Counsel at the Office of Inspector General for the U.S. Department of the Interior and the Department of Homeland Security. Jonathan has a background in conducting complex regulatory investigations, including international money laundering and fraud, and has worked in various legal capacities, including as a law clerk for a U.S. District Judge and in public defense. Jonathan earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology, with high distinction, from the University of Virginia.
