Jordan Nimitz is a legal professional with extensive experience in the field of securities and corporate finance. Currently serving as Senior Counsel in the Office of International Affairs at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since July 2021, Jordan focuses on regulatory policy and supervisory cooperation. Previously, Jordan held roles as an Attorney Advisor in the Division of Corporation Finance and as an Associate in the Structured Transactions Practice Group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Additional experience includes internships with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, and Disability Rights DC. Jordan earned a Juris Doctor with a concentration in Business Law from The George Washington University Law School, a Master of Arts in Psychology in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology from the University of North Florida.
