Julia Zhang

Julia Zhang is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in regulatory law. Currently serving at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since July 2019, Julia has previously held a position at the Federal Trade Commission in the Bureau of Competition, focusing on merger review and investigation from July 2012 to July 2019. Prior to these roles, Julia was a litigation associate at Jenner & Block from January 2011 to June 2012 and completed an internship at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in summer 2008. Julia holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a focus on International Economics from Georgetown University.
