Mark Sylvester

Mark Sylvester is currently the Associate Director of the New York Regional Office at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Previously, Mark served as an Assistant Director in the Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit and as Senior Trial Counsel at the SEC. Early in their career, Mark was a Litigation Associate at Arnold & Porter and a Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Juan R. Sanchez in the U.S. District Courts. Mark holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
