Michael Bloise

Michael Bloise is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in financial regulation and law. As a Senior Legal Advisor at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since March 2000, Michael oversees legal issues affecting the Office of Credit Ratings, which regulates nationally recognized statistical rating organizations. Previously, Michael served as Senior Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel, focusing on enforcement recommendations and legislative analysis related to the financial sector. Prior roles include Associate at Skadden Arps, where Michael handled regulatory applications for financial institutions, and Attorney/Senior Attorney in the Enforcement Division of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, prosecuting violations of federal banking laws.
