Michael Kosoff

Michael Kosoff serves as the Acting Assistant Director at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where they specialize in securities regulation, investment company regulation, and compliance. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as Senior Special Counsel and Branch Chief within the same organization, contributing significantly to the Division of Investment Management. They also gained valuable experience as an intern at FINRA. Michael earned a JD in Financial Transactions from the University at Buffalo School of Law, an MBA in Finance from the University at Buffalo School of Management, and a BS in Biology from the State University of New York at Albany.
