Michael Schihl is an experienced economist currently employed at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since October 2016, specializing in research related to fixed-income, credit default swaps, and corporate credit markets. Prior roles include economist at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, where responsibilities involved examining collateral management practices and evaluating quantitative models, as well as teaching as an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University. At PwC, Michael practiced transfer pricing analysis for multinational clients, having earlier served as a graduate student instructor at UC Berkeley.
