Mitchell A. is an experienced attorney-adviser in the Division of Corporation Finance at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, having held the position since September 2013. Responsibilities include involvement in the Office of Technology's Disclosure Operations and leadership of shareholder proposal initiatives during 2015-2017, as well as contributing to the Office of Rulemaking in 2018. Mitchell has served as Acting Legal Branch Chief in the Office of Energy & Transportation and previously worked as a law clerk and summer honors intern within the same division. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, specializing in Business Law and Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English Literature from UCLA, alongside a High School Diploma from St. Margaret’s Episcopal School.
