Monifa Wright

Monifa Wright is currently a Senior Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, a position they have held since 2010. They began their legal career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Phyllis A. Kravitch at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from 2006 to 2007. Before their legal pursuits, Monifa worked as a Member of the Technical Staff and Mechanical Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories from 2000 to 2003. Monifa earned their Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2006 and holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and Clemson University, respectively.
