Nicolas Lopez

Nicolas Lopez is a Financial Economist at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, focusing on economic and risk analysis within the Office of Litigation Economics since February 2021. Prior to this role, Nicolas gained experience as an Antitrust and Competition Associate and Analyst at Charles River Associates from June 2019 to December 2020, and as an Office of Economic Policy Intern at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in late 2018, where responsibilities included research and data analysis. Previous positions also include an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Novahill Partners and a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics at Georgetown University. Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Georgetown University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the Fordham University School of Law, expected to graduate in 2027.
