Paul Alvarez

Paul Alvarez is a Senior Appellate Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where they draft appellate merits briefs and present oral arguments in federal courts. Previously, they served as a Judicial Law Clerk for both Judge Royce C. Lamberth and Chief Judge David B. Sentelle, and worked as an Associate at McDermott Will & Emery, focusing on federal trial and appellate practice. Paul has also gained experience as a Summer Law Clerk at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and as a Litigation Paralegal at Milberg Weiss. They hold a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Pennsylvania.
