Peter Mancuso

Peter Mancuso currently serves as Trial Counsel for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission within the Division of Enforcement, a position held since January 2023, focusing on the prosecution of violations of U.S. securities laws. Prior to this role, Peter was a Trial Attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Division, Commercial Litigation Branch from December 2016 to February 2023, where responsibilities included representing the United States in commercial and international trade litigation, as well as investigating complex international trade fraud. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Trial Attorney at the New York City Law Department from August 2010 to December 2016, defending municipal agencies against tort actions, and earlier roles as a Research Assistant and Law Clerk. Peter Mancuso earned a JD, summa cum laude, from Albany Law School (2010) and a BA, cum laude, in History from the University at Buffalo (2007).
