Stephanie Werner

Stephanie Werner, CPA, has extensive experience in the financial and regulatory sectors, currently serving as Examination Manager at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since January 2010. In this role, Stephanie directs staff in conducting securities compliance examinations and provides counsel on regulatory matters related to the Securities Exchange Act and the Securities Act. Prior to this, Stephanie held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Staff Accountant and Assurance Senior Associate, focusing on mortgage banking and Regulation AB compliance. Early career experiences include roles in financial aid at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and as a Graduate Assistant at UW-Whitewater. Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Wisconsin School of Business and a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
