Suzanne Romajas is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel at the US Securities and Exchange Commission since June 2003, where responsibilities include prosecuting violations of federal securities laws as lead or co-lead trial counsel. Prior to this role, Suzanne worked as a Senior Litigation Associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP from September 1998 to May 2003, representing corporations and executives in securities class actions and SEC investigations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Business & Securities Litigation Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from September 1994 to September 1998, and a Judicial Intern at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Suzanne holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester.
