Taylor Asher

Taylor Asher currently serves as the Chief Policy Advisor for the SEC Crypto Task Force at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, providing senior policy advice to Chairman Atkins. Prior experience includes roles as a Policy Advisor and Confidential Assistant to SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda, personal aide to U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty, and a fellow at the MIT Digital Currency Initiative. Asher has also held positions in various capacities within the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, alongside participation in leadership programs at The Heritage Foundation and research initiatives at Tulane University. Asher holds a Master’s degree in Economics from George Mason University and a Master's degree in Finance, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies in Business from Tulane University.
