Vladimir Ivanov

Vladimir Ivanov is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in economic analysis and academia. Currently serving as the Assistant Director and Senior Financial Economist at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since August 2009, Vladimir has conducted in-depth economic analyses related to private offerings under the JOBS Act and additional disclosure requirements from the Dodd-Frank Act. Prior to this role, Vladimir was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Kansas, where instruction focused on entrepreneurial finance, corporate finance, and investments for both MBA and undergraduate students from August 2004 to July 2009. Early in Vladimir's career, work as an economist at Harsev & Co. included performing economic analysis from September 1995 to September 1996. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Finance from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Memphis.
