Wendy E. Pearson

Wendy E. Pearson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in securities law and government enforcement. Since June 2010, Wendy has served as Senior Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Previously, Wendy participated in the Excellence in Government Fellowship with the Partnership for Public Service from October 2018 to August 2019. From October 2000 to May 2010, Wendy was a Senior Associate Attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, specializing in defending corporations and executives in investigations related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other complex legal challenges. Early in Wendy's career, an externship at the United States Attorney’s Office in the Central District of California provided foundational experience in criminal law. Wendy holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Russian Studies from William & Mary.
